A New Year

So as you all know a new year is arriving! 2013! My graduation year! I am super excited because this is the year that I will pretty much have to change lifestyles. Since I am going off to college in the fall, I have to prepare myself to take that big step without my parents or family around. I still have another several months left of my senior year, but that will come to a closer fairly quick, and I won't have time to make the changes I need to in my life in order to live at school and away from home. It will definitely be hard and I'm sure I will get homesick quickly, but college is what it is all about. It is going to be an amazing experience that I am ready (or will be) to challenge. I will make friends that will become the best of friends and even maybe meet my future husband! I don't know what college will have in store for me but I know that it will make me, well, ME! Wish me luck! I love all of my followers, well the 2 that I have! Byeee

Hey y'all. So Christmas has passed and I am currently blogging on my new Samsung Windows 8 matte screen 14" laptop! My parents got me this gift for college and I was lucky enough to receive it right now for Christmas! We had a wonderful day and later my Aunt Tina, Uncle Marc, and my two cousins Shea and Brandon came over for dinner and cards. Today though, this day was completely horrible. I don't think I've had a worse day in my life. I can't really talk about it right now, but I'm really in pain and I'm hurting so I hope I can get through this. I'm sort of at a numb stage right now and I'm hoping that things will get better soon. Congratulations to Alex's mom for having her new baby Norah! I bet you guys are loving her like crazy right now! I wish my life was going as well as yours. Anyway, Merry Christmas.

Chirstmas Plans!

How is everyone doing?! Today I mostly sat around and video chatted with my best friend Alex :). You all know her. We are still video chatting as a matter of fact! We also watched the movie Superstar. It was really funny and I really enjoyed it, and so did Alex. It was the first time we had ever seen it! Right now I'm watching Alex make her mom's bed and earlier I was cleaning my room. Now I have to wait for the laundry currently being done to be done so that I can clean my clothes and sheets! I also have to vacuum my room and de-clutter which I have done mostly. My room was really messy and it was about time that I clean it! I really don't want to go back to school but I'm excited for Christmas! I can't believe Christmas Eve is tomorrow!! I am going to go to church at 8:00pm with my family and hopefully the mass won't be too long! My Aunt, Uncle, and cousin are also coming over for dinner so I am going to dress up and it will be fancy!! I'm pretty sure I know what I am going to wear! Today, the same Aunt that is coming found out that her half brother passed away. It is really sad but I know that he is with God now, even if he had some issues of his own. We all do. My prayers are with him and will be with God tomorrow night at mass. I hope my Aunt is still able to enjoy the holidays this season. I love her and hope she is doing good. She is strong. Video Chat Sleepover

Alex and I are video chatting right now and we have been for 1 hour and 10 minutes and it has been awesome!! I just made ginger snap cookies from scratch and might I say that they are delicious! I am so excited for Christmas because it is baby Jesus' birthday! Alex and I are listening to a vlog that her and her brother Ethan made today. She is on her oxygen right now and I am sitting here waiting for my giant ginger snap to cool down so I can eat it! I will try to put at least one picture on every blog that I write. We are both chewing on our fingers, it's pretty funny! We are going to have another sleepover tonight so I am really excited about that! I am drinking a coke, or drank a coke lol and we are ready to party forsureeeee! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile!!! I haven't gotten around to it lately! I might watch a movie laterrr.... IDKKK

Botanical Gardens!

YAYYYY!!! Christmas Break officially began today!

Tonight my friends Maddy, Rachel, and I all went to see the Botanical Gardens and eat gelato in Bellevue Square! It was so much fun, although it probably wasn't the best idea to wear dresses because it was really cold. If you don't know what the Botanical Gardens are, they are a garden full of donated Christmas lights that volunteers go to help turn into beautiful flowers and trees and even animals. We saw a Loc Ness Monster made completely out of Christmas lights that someone said it took 200 hours for volunteers to build. I was amazed! 

I wonder what it looks like during the day! (not good I suppose)

2 of our friends were planning on coming with us but they decided to ditch us for someone else which made us pretty mad. I, fortunately, confronted them about it and it is settled now so we can be at peace with our treaty. Just kidding we aren't nations lol, although right now in senior issues we ARE doing Model UN! Wooo! Damn I shouldn't think about school on break! It is sooo hard... just clear your mind Lauren, you crazy Bafoon....

BLIZZARD?

So a lot of people received blizzard warnings on their phones yesterday and stuff, but I haven't gotten them, probably because of my California area code...
That would be awesome if we had a blizzard tonight though because I wouldn't have to go to school tomorrow and take my math TEST! But then again I want to take it so I don't have to take it after break when I forget everything that I just learned!
I'm super excited for Christmas! Who isn't! Christmas time is absolutely my favorite time of the year!!!
I hope all of my readers have a wonderful holiday whether you celebrate Christmas or not!!!

Alexandria

          Alexandria is my best friend in the whole world! We both have CF and she has been my inspiration for 5 and a half years. We met on youtube and after a couple awkward video chats, we pretty much know each other's families and friends :) We have had a few sleepovers and we had our most recent one last night! We video chatted for almost 17 hours straight! That was our first video chat in 4 months! We haven't been keeping in touch very well for the past couple of months because of how busy we both are. It's my senior year of high school and she is a freshman in college, but she also is very busy with the hospital visits and keeping up with her treatments and healthcare. No one will ever know me the way she does, or will be able to make me as happy as she makes me. I owe a lot to her and I try to support her as much as I possibly can because that's what best friends do. I hope that one day we will be able to meet each other in real life once we are either cured or she gets her double lung transplant. She fights so incredibly hard to just take a breathe everyday and if I could, I would take her place in a heart beat. It has been extremely hard for me to watch her deteriorate over the past 5 years and I know what will inevitably happen sooner or later. I know that she is strong enough to hold on long enough until she is at the top of the transplant list. I only wish the best for her. I have to be positive because I know that God has her in his arms. He will do what he has to do and I trust his choice. Alex was placed on this Earth for a very important reason. That reason is to inspire everyone she meets or even sees on the street to be a better person and to be grateful for the life they live and especially the air they BREATH.  Breathing is something that too many people take for granted in this world and it is her duty to spread awareness of Cystic Fibrosis. People are dying everyday from it, so they only thing we can do now is keep our heads up and wait until it is our turn to leave this Earth and go to God, or to hopefully beat this disease and live to inspire others to as well. Alexandria is my best friend in the whole world, and I will never let her go. I don't know what I would do without her. 

Alex, I am so proud of you for making it this far.
